Best place in Monument for Chinese food. They have great lunch deals with most dishes under $7. They recently started serving pho and it is one of the better ones in the springs. The broth has a rich depth of flavor and it's served with the right amount of beef. The pho dish is less than $9 for lunch. I've always had great service everytime I go there. I'm recognized and they usually know what I want to order before I sit down. If you are in the area, stop by for some good, cheap chinese food.

This place is owned and operated by a husband and wife and they are always there greeting you with a smile and offering grand service. The food is good and the prices are better. You get a lot for your money and I've never left feeling unsatisfied. This is my go to spot whenever I'm back in town for a visit.

Best Chinese food in tri-lakes. Very friendly husband/wife running this place. Don't be scared by the empty dining room-85% of business is take-out.

So glad to see other people saying good things about this restaurant. Still can't believe some of the reviews! Still simple fare but they've added Vietnamese pho soup. There are days where a bowl of either their pho or jampong soup fixes everything that's gone wrong!

totally average chinese food. not bad if that's what you are craving, but hey, you only have so many options in monument, right?!

Very avg/basic american chinese food. Myself and others have gotten sick from the food here, so I "just say no" to this place now and instead head down to PF Changs, Pei Wei, or up into Monument proper for the chinese place behind Rosie's diner when I need to stay close to home.

Food was adequate. Problem I had with them was the way they packed the take away. First, there was no fork. Second and most of all, they put the sticky orange chicken in one of those boxes they used in the 70's. The reason they stopped then is because they leaked which mine did. It leaked all over the bag and everything in it. I hate styrofoam, but it does keep meals from spilling. Rice is fine for those boxes, but not meals with sauces.

Family owned - Sadly quality has dropped since last visit. We had Sweet & Sour Chicken and Cashew Chicken - both unappealing. SS had heavy thick sauce. Chicken in both dishes left lot to be desired. Rice was flavorless. Won't be back, at least three better places within 3 miles.

Dude, I don't know what kind of malfunction people have been having here, but this is one of my favorite places (if not number one) to get chinese food. During their lunch hour, they have great prices on their food and you get SO much food! I'm a total advocate for lunch because you get the soup, an eggroll, a wonton, a side of rice, and your entree choice for like 8 bucks. Uh, yes please! Never have I ever had a poor meal here, and I've been coming for years. The owners are always super nice and helpful, really great with kids, too. I much prefer them to major chinese chain restaurants, hands down, but then again, I've also never had a bad experience. Long story short, my experiences have been awesome here, through and through, and I'm a total advocate and have turned many non-believers into lovers of this restaurant. For those who are anti, sorry for losing out, but this is a keeper in my book.

We were visiting elderly relatives in the area over Memorial Day and tried this place for carry-out. The staff is friendly. The menu selection is extensive. Our order included scallops and snow peas, chicken with vegetables and curry shrimp. All were solid choices and about what you expect from a strip mall carry-out restaurant . . . not gourmet Chinese, but not bad. We'll go again if we're in the area.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
